A moment to arrive

You can begin exactly where you are.

We begin with faith grounding and space to slow down. You don’t need the right words or a creative plan to take part.

A place for what you’re carrying.

A little texture. A little meaning. Something uniquely yours.

Together, we’ll slow down and make room for what’s been on your heart. You’ll decorate a hope container with words, textures, or details that reflect your own season of life. It can become a place for worries you’re ready to set down, hopes you want to hold onto, or reminders of what matters most.


Your clay container will be prepared before you arrive, so you can focus on adding your own personal touches. After glazing and firing, you’ll have something to bring home: a gentle reminder to pause, breathe, and give what you’re carrying a place to rest.

We’ll gather in my private pottery studio in Killeen, Texas. With only six participants, there’s room for a personal, unhurried morning.

The studio porch offers a glimpse of the setting, with greenery, comfortable seating, and a little space to breathe.

Your registration includes guided activities, a prepared clay container to decorate, materials, glazing, and firing. Your finished piece will be ready for pickup approximately three weeks later.

It makes sense to have questions before signing up for something personal, creative, and new. Here are a few things you may want to know before reserving your spot.

  • No experience is needed. Your clay container will be prepared before you arrive, and you’ll have guidance as you add your own words, textures, and decorative details.

  • Your piece will be ready approximately three weeks after the workshop, once it has been glazed and fired. I’ll contact you to arrange pickup.

  • Faith is woven into the morning through gentle reflection and encouragement. You’re welcome to participate at your own comfort level.

  • No. Gentle group reflection is optional. You’re welcome to be as present and as private as you need. Silence is honored just as much as sharing.

  • No. Bridges of Hope is a faith and creativity workshop, not therapy or a therapy group. Although I am a licensed professional counselor, I am serving as your workshop facilitator. Participation does not establish a therapist-client relationship.

  • Registration is non-refundable because space is limited to six participants. With at least 72 hours’ notice, you may transfer your registration once to a future Bridges of Hope workshop. Cancellations with less notice and no-shows are not eligible for transfer or credit.
